Need help and will hirre MYSQL Database specialist in the staes

    Need some assistance with this migration from the 1and1.com shared package to VPS:

    1. Install and setup MS SQL Express on a Windows Server 2008 Virtual Private Server
    2. Create a new MS SQL database and import the backup from your existing database

    Their hardware personnel said it shouldnt take more than an hour but I do need assistance as it's beyond my comprehension on databases and would love to get this together! Let me know what I can do :)

    anybody out there? I have one possible guy but haven't heard back from him I am going to send him money for the job and hope he can help me in a timley manner

    MySQL and MS SQL Express are two different things. What is your requirement? MySQL or MS SQL Express?
