Since last one week i can see rise in clicks and drop in sales in one of my campaign However i not made any major changes and at the same time my Yahoo and MSN campaigns are working fine 1st to 8th Sep 350 clicks per day and 3 sales per day 9th to 17th Sep 500 clicks per day and 1.5 sale per day
By 'not made any major changes', what do you mean? Have you made changes to your Ad or your landing page? If you've made changes to your page and your CTR is up but your conversion rate is down, surely you'd be best off changing it back to what it was. If you've changed your ad, but your page doesn't quite match what your ad says, change your ad back and try another re-jig. You're better off having 3 sales for 350 than 1.5 sales for 500. It might not be a major change to you, but something is putting people off..
Some inactive keywords mayb have become active after changes to Adwords QS procedures. I noticed in my account that keywords previously inactive for search came one for a short time after they changes their system. I received lots of clicks during this period, but it has now stopped showing for those keywords.
You need to continue refining your campaigns - AdWords is not a set it and forget it platform. Your ads and keywords are fluid...in an environment where everything around them is moving and changing. Even if you don't change anything in your account lots of other things in the market/system change constantly and that has an impact on your account's performance.
I notice that your clicks are up by nearly 50%. Has your average position changed? There are occasions when a higher position can give you a lower conversion rate. Also, 12 conversions is not that many to draw strong conclusions from. As GFC says, there are a lot of things that can change your conversion rate, that you'll never even notice. For example, a change in other advertisers' pricing, their advert text, or even the natural search results. Alternatively, there are many things that you can see that can cause this - are your clicks distributed across the keywords similarly to previously? I assume that you have no stock issues, and haven't changed your site. Perhaps seasonality, recent news articles, or even the weather are a factor? It's not uncommon to see a big change in your conversion rate (positive or negative), particularly over short time-periods. If you can't identify the cause, all you can do is manage your account for the current situation...
Hi Friend, Check your landing page properly May be some error on that page, or error on payment gateway method, make sure that everything is fine and working well, than you can refine your campaign. Perhaps you increase the product price, check your price with competitors . I am sure this can help you.
