need help about my .htacess

    Hi;

    I own a joomla web site. and i'm using sef urls for my web site.

    My urls are like sitename.com/section/category/item-title.html .

    And I have added

    to my .htaccess.

    When people gives me link with sitename.com/section/category/item-title.html, my .htaccess redirects it to wwww.sitename.com/index.php/category/item-title.html .

    It's my problem.

    I want to redirect from sitename.com/section/category/item-title.html to www. sitename.com/section/category/item-title.html , when people gives me with sitename.com/section/category/item-title.html url.

    That rule should work fine, i would suggest you put it at the TOP of your rewrite rules, and change [R=301] to [R=301,L] (top - after any server settings, it should be the first rewrite rules you have)

    hopefully that'll fix your problem right up.
