Hello, My outgoing transaction is locked in my moneybookers account that means I can log into my moneybookers account but can not withdraw my money. It is the first time I was trying to withdraw the money. This is what happend I just turned 18 this year so I made my id card but I made my moneybooker account last months. Since, I did not have an ID card thats why I did not have a bank account as well. Therefore, I signed up with the name of my brother and added his bank in my account. It was all fluent. I also received the address verification code my post mail and I verified my account as well. but here is the trouble. When I clicked withdraw it asked for date of birth, I selected the right one and I remember that I put correct one but after few tries it says my account is locked. Now they want me to send identification documents to them (having name of my brother ofcourse) but he does not have a passport or driving license. He has an ID card but that is not in english. SO what should I do now please guide me. I have 2 3 options in my mind 1. Send ID scanned ID card of my brother to moneybookers but thats not in English? 2. As I have my Identity card now I can open my own bank account and then I can Change the name of my money booker account to my own name and then send my scanned Passport to them to verify and change my date of birth? But, I am afraid about 2nd option that they might get suspicious why did I change my name when my account is locked and etc...Please guide me im really annoyed and confused.! thanks
Hello, I don't know where u'r from. But in such cases, what I would do or did before, Made ID Card scanned. Also, Made an English translation of the ID card, Just write all the stuffs in foreign language in English. Have that "english translation" apostiled i.e. notarized by a notary public. Send Both documents and send a latter, letting them know what is the English translation for. This should work. But before I do that, would of course take permission from my brother, I'm sure brothers would help in such situations!!(no pun intended) Lastly, Never do any account with any other persons name, it's a criminal offense in most countries. I'm not trying to scare u...but letting u on the facts... Hope that helps ...
AFAIK, If you verify your home address you'll be able to make withdrawals. Moneybookers will send you a letter to your home address, you'll have to give the code to moneybooker site. Look for the address verification link in your account.
hello, thank you for replying. Could you please clear about translating the ID card? how to do it? Like should I attach a copy of the ID card scanned and then in the subject of the mail type in the translation? or Should I write it down on a different paper alone? where would I notarize it from is notarization necessary? and yes my brother is with me and he is trying to help me out. He does not have a passport otherwise it would have been easier he is trying to help me ou as well. Will the bank statement work instead of ID card? he is ready to send the bank statement!
Hello, I received my verification mail by post to my home today and I verified my address as well by entering the verification code in verify address tab in my account. Then, I clicked withdrawal, selected the bank account and put in the amount clicked next then it asked for date of birth where I think i messed up. So my address is verified but still the outgoing transactions is locked....
Just write down all foreign language in a word docx. Print it out. Notarize it at a notary public office i.e. they usually are lawyers. Scan that document and send it along with your original scanned ID card. Let them know the attached document with the ID card is an "English translation", so that they know what is written on the ID card in foreign language. NOte your id card must hv your color photograph, otherwise they may not accept it. Check with moneybookers, they are slow in processing email requests. If cannot get their attention the first time, try again. Note, u must login to send them email request through the system. Request must be through their system/website. Dox may be sent separate from your "moneybookers" email. Check with them first, i.e. open a support ticket.
Ok..thanks.. this notarization seems kind of a hectic task..can't I change the name first to my name...and scan my Passport and send them simply and add a new bank account? or is it unsafe to do so?
Why do u thing notary is hactic ?, of course it depend on what country u'r from. U can't change your name, as it is locked, I just checked it myself...in profile only, can change address, if I do that I shall hv to get verified again. Probably lock my withdrawals. too..not sure.
If notary public not available, U might be able to get your translation verified by a Gadgeted Govt. official, Pls. talk to moneybookers first. I guess this is all I can do for u...hope it helps...
Hello, well can I notarize it with any law associate? Plus, yeah there is an option to change your name. Go To E-mail Support> My Account> My personal details are incorrect> The name registered on my Moneybookers account is incorrect >In order to change the name registered on your Moneybookers account, you must provide your corrected details: First name: Last name: There you can change first name and last name but I do not know how this works so I am actually kinda scared changing it out Like they will change it right away or it will need some verification as well or etc..
At the moment, you won't be able to change your name on your account. You are supposed to send them the documents they require. It doesn't matter if your ID card is not in English, just send them your brother's ID card (Scanned copy) and they will unlock it. It happened to me a while ago and I sent them the copy of local NIC card number and they unlocked it. But you should try to avoid requesting a change of name as they might get real suspicious and close your account. MB doesn't have a good history when it comes to this. Regards
Hello, Thank for your respone. Can you tell me where are you from and what was your native language and your NIC card in? Did you send scanned copy without translation and notarized? and how long did it take for them to unlock your account.. I'm really worried I have 100$ in my freelancer account that I am about to transfer through moneybookers..
I'm from Pakistan and native language is Urdu. I sent them a copy of my ID Card as it is (in urdu) and it probably took them 3-5 days to unlock it.
Awsome.. I am also from Pakistan. I will do this and hit you back if my account is unlocked. Thanks... alot
One last question, did you send them your nic image through E-mail Supprt> My profile> My personal details are incorrect> The date of birth registered on my Moneybookers account is incorrect ???? Because it gives me the link to this page when I clicked in e-mail supprt>my account is locked> it says " You have failed to verify your date of birth and that is why withdrawals from your account are temporarily suspended. In order to enable them, please verify your identity and correct your date of birth by clicking here."
I provided them the National Identity Card. They now want to know the reason why was the birthday was entered at the time of creation of my account. What reason should I provide? Please help me waiting for response..thanks
Hello, all just to let you all know my account is unlocked now I'm really happy with moneybookers now thanks everyone for helping out!
