i am having problems in verifying my site verification.

    reference thread:http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1964894

I did exactly according to the guideline but nothing worked. i uploaded the html file to server to check verification as described in the guidelines. the file opens. but when it comes to verfiy link it says, domain is not verified try again.

    -------------------------------------------------
Add the following TXT record to your DNS configuration:
    digitalpoint-site-verify:e3d4c992a166d20ff3e798ad0753edb7

    - OR -

Create a file named e3d4c992a166d20ff3e798ad0753edb7.html with the contents:
    digitalpoint-site-verify:e3d4c992a166d20ff3e798ad0753edb7
Upload the file so it is located at: http://www.marketingrisks.com/e3d4c992a166d20ff3e798ad0753edb7.html

still not solved. no i never changed the dns.

i was suggested by skynet that i should rename the .htaccess to .htaccessxyz and then verify the link and again change the renamed file to its original name.

still it never worked. i am using jkookserv hosting, i pay 15 dollars monthly my hosting fee. i am using cpanel hosting.

adding a txt record to dns look very strange to me, i am not master in playing with dns settings. i knew about the first method of verifying the site which i did my best.
