    Hey all...

I have a quick question, and am probably missing something.

I downloaded the google sitemaps plugin.
    I then activated it.

The thing I dont get is how I add my sitemap to my google account. I guess I need to create a sitemap is that right? And then add it?

Does anybody have some advice/direction on this?

    Let me know!

You need to log into the Google account and inform them the location of the sitemap url.

If the plugin didn't come with a read me file check the creators site, it should have the instructions on how the plugin works.

It's been a while but if I remember correctly, you need to first build the sitemap and then let Google know about it by adding the sitemap to your Google account. Google then wants to verify it. They give you a few options on how to verify it. Make sure you go through this process. It may take a day or so to get it verified (often less). Google will let you know if it has been able or unable to verify.

in fact the easiest way is adding Sitemap:your-full-url-to-sitemap.xml to your robots.txt . G and the other will find your sitemap
