I would go with go-daddy because they're reliable from all of the years I've used them. The only downsite is that the control panel isn't the easiest one to use..

I'd recommend using the baby plan of HostGator. They are quite reliable and reputed in the hosting industry.
I'd also suggest you to read some real HostGator Reviews and Coupons by DP users.

    Hostgator voted from me.

There are lots of benefit when you hosted with hostgator:

    For Baby Plan:

    1. Host Unlimited Website

    2. No worries of getting banned for a small complains unlike godaddy do.

    3. Allow you to send 200 email messages out from your mailing lists per hour while other web hosting provider only limited to 300 messages per day.

    4. In built Fantastico interface for you to have a few mouse click on any of the scripts to be installed in minutes.

    5. Have a trial period of $0.01 for the first month if you use coupon code to signup.

    and much much more...

I like it because it provides me hassle free on web hosting issue.

I am using Hostgator's Baby plan. And I will recommend that to you.

Just last week I had the same dilema. I wanted to migrate from Godaddy.com as their customer support is not that much quick and their control panel is also too cumbersome. When I contacted Hostgator people. They resolve all the issues in Instant chat on its home page itself. Such quick service....Godaddy take atleast 12 hours to reposnsed.

Also, as a small website we need to make many website(sometimes) and for hosting we may require small hosting plan. Godaddy is lacking in this feature. You need to pay $3.59 per month to host a single page website as well as thousands of pages websites.

Hotsgator provide unlimited Database, 100GB space, unlimited domain hosting, a quick customer service, ready to help if you are not technical person, a simple control panel and so on....

Do not think I am a affiliate :) ....... I am satishfy customers.....that the difference between two host. Choose your best pick....and by the way I am using both of them 3 on www.hostgator.com and 4 on www.Godaddy.com
