Need good host for vbulletin forums site

    hey all,

    the subject says it all: can anyone recommend an inexpensive host to host my vbulletin forums site? don't know what i should be looking for in a host besides the basic mysql and php support, but the end result should be a fast loading forums site.

    Hi devbistro,
    I currently run a vbulletin forum through pipex http://www.pipex.net/products/hosting/shared/linux/entry/ and have yet to run into any major problems, well I mean I have been able to do everything that I have needed with vbulletin and not been restricted by the host.
    Obviously MySQL and PHP essential, FTP is needed to uplodad the vbulletin files cos their are too many to do through a control panel and is also helpful if you need to edit files for vB hacks and mods.

    It costs £7.95 a month, although I think this doesn't include tax.

    I'm prob sure there are cheaper options out there but I have used these guys for 3-4 years and found them to be reliable and their support is pretty good too.

    mediatemple are a sweet host and asmallorange are also quite good :)
