Need general advice on ad size, placement, and colour for my blog

I have read many of the comments and opinions but I am at the point where I need specific advice for my blog. Any advice will be appreciated.

Note, though the ad at the bottom seems a long way away, most of my readers only see a single post because they are directed by link to a single post and not the entire page. I hope that was clear.

I think it looks good, although generally people will recommend placing link units at the top. The other thing is that when viewing a post, the link that links back to the blog main page is rather small. I'm referring to the link located at the top of the page & embedded within the banner picture.

    It looks nice to me.

BTW check your img, because there is no shown image down your page.

Considering this, I would choose to insert the ad between post no. 1 and no. 2 instead of placing it at the bottom.

i tried putting an ad at the end of the latest post, but the ad turns out weird. the color is wrong, and the format is wrong. nmo idea why.

you can see an example on my page.

Well, this is another sort of problem. It is possible to do, and it does work well.

Wether you choose to try fixing it is of course up to you ;) You could try to describe your problem in the coding section - see if you can get some help there.

But you need to work on presenting the problem - which in some cases makes you realise how to solve it yourself ;)

I tried this once if I understand you correctly, and because of the blogger template it caused banner ads to appear at the top of the first second and third posts, and none at all in the sidebar.

Maybe I did not add it the best way, I'll try again.

Hehe.. On a sidenote I would have to suggest that you move to Wordpress.
