if your only way to earn on the site will be adsense, I would not buy adwords, what kind of site is it? can you give the url or something. its a bit hard to help without knowing anything.
you need to market your site to get traffic. not sure whata you did in terms of marketing, but keep building backlinks. that will give you SERP and traffic down the road. there is not instant way to get traffic to site like that. if you are selling affiliate products, then PPC program can give you instant trafic
Yes build backlinks for your site and then you will eventually start receiving traffic from search engines.Also I suggest that you purchase a domain as this will help you in future and then others might find it reasonable enough to link it. Your site has good content
Your site looks pretty good to me. If I had anything to add to what's already been said, I think I might tighten my focus if I were you. What I mean is you've got videos of all types. If it were me, I would pick a video niche and try to specialize in that. That makes it easier to market. It's easier to get people who are looking for funny videos to find your site than it is to try to get listed in the serps for just plain video.
based on the content, funny videos and that kind of stuff, try to submit some content to sites like leenks.com if they list your like, it could give you a boost. also make some of your own funny videos and submit them to sites like youtube.com, if they get popular your site could get a lot of traffic, but you have to make some good vidoes of your own.
The best traffic you can get is from the search engines because it's free and it's targeted. Write more original content, submit it to social bookmarking sites (for some instant traffic & backlinks), get your site indexed in Google. Exchanging links with related sites will help improve your site rankings and thus traffic.
