I have a church that has hired me to design a site. For the first page they want it to be an image of a church and to enter you click the doors. The doors then open up to the site. Can someone please give me a quote for this work?

i dont know if i can do exactly how you ask.. but i can do plain html... for example this one www.41s.com.ar/sf at $25 unique designs..
but the door opening animation will be in flash that will attached to your website's main page. i willl add a timer for that flash if nobody click the door then flash automatically open the door and then your website.. and if somebody click the door then the same flash starts and open the door and after that your website... this take a little work.. but i can make it in 25$ but thats would be the last bid..
