Hey guys I've once again redesigned my website. Let me know what you think http://www.concept7studios.com/
Great work buddy. Clean, good color combination and easy to navigate. The images/icons used really looks great and really matches the site. Cheers!
really nice. clean with nice colors. If I had to say it needed anything I'd pick the header. The name of your site is really small. people are dumb and will forget what your site is called.
The design is extremely appealing. I did find one snag in navigation. I went to about us page, then to the first site in the history group. That too is a good looking design but I had no way back home or to the main top menu. /*tom*/
top area needs to be worked up.its just not in sync. the green banner and the menu bar and all above that.
It looks really nice, the colors used makes my eyes happy. Concept 7 studios should be bigger though. And maybe try to work it somewhere in the header? You need the name of your website to be embedded in your users brains so they can associate it with the website itself and make it successful at gaining returning visitors.
Nice design. Here are my suggestions: - Remove the folder icon and Menu text from the menu bar... It makes an otherwise good menu look slightly unprofessional in my opinion. - Consider removing the border of the title and making the font much bigger. Maybe you can make it look more Web 2.0ish. - Fix spacing... you need some more spaces between module titles and text (ex: Home and 'Welcome to Concept 7 Studios...') Just my 2c. Otherwise, it's looking good well done.
Sorry for the late reply guys, just haven't been able to get on. @longcall911; When you click on the image you should see a menu bar on top of the picture that has escape, next and previous pictures @marcvb; I was thinking about removing the icon and "Menu" but the website seems a bit plain without it so I just kept it. And @ everyone else thanks for the feedback!!. I am doing something with the banner now since it does look a bit plain. Thanks again for the feedback!!
I like it but I think the images need to be compressed a bit. If a visitor has a slow connection, it will take forever to load the images...especially the big green one. You can compress images in Photoshop by opening an image and then clicking on "Save for Web or Device".
Hey guys I've done another revision, the site has been updated (Only the homepage has major changes but everything else is the same); http://www.concept7studios.com/ @kalinchuk: The "Save for Web or Device" saves images that have been sliced, it doesn't have anything to do with the format. I made them .png on purpose for higher quality since I was experimenting with the background and needed the transparancy.
"Save for Web or Device" can save any image with the following formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, and some other ones I think. The thing with "Save for Web or Device" is that you can set the quality of an image so it works for the web, hence "Web" in the option.
Hello nice design but you have to work a little bit at the optimization for the image, in my view 239.9 kb for image in header is too much may be you can compress it twice or more, thumb up
