Need Feedback for this internationall social bookmarking and article writing news com

Hi,

Have recently launched www.fastbutter.com and need some (more) feedback on the site.

Here is a short presentation on the site and what it does:
“FastButter.com is an article & link oriented social community platform that allows you to write, share and discuss “articles and bookmarks” in user- friendly way.”

I know there is a ton of these kinds of services, and we know the competition is insanely difficult (almost impossible), but we hope to grow in time.

We did this site for two main reasons:
1) We knew people have been asking for a new type of bookmarking and article writing service, a service that both look good and could deliver it purpose. There were tons of comment in TechCrunch, and many wanted to see something new (or something like that). The result become FastButter.
2) To challenge our self to see how well we can manage doing a social community with both article writing and bookmark sharing in one site. A site that we hope people will engage in and not only post links to get inlinks.

Oh!
But wouldn't that be double post or spam if I try it there also?
I don´t dare to take that chance right now, this thread are too important. Maybe the moderator can move it there?

We have tried lots of different designs but went with the current one we are using at FastButter since it is the most easiest for the eye to get a fast overview.
Also we have gotten some more and more visitors/day which is a relief for us since we have been putting lots time coding the site. And more time it will be since we have lots of ideas we want to implement in the site, but for that we also needs the support of the community.

 

Our site keeps growing each day , google analytics shows a positiv visitor flow =)

 

Not a bad looking site sellinger. Kinda has a self-promo link farm feel to it, but then if you consider that a problem you'd have to say the same for Digg and other social bookmark sites. Need to muster a double handful of folks to get in there and do some fresh submits so it looks a bit more active. Not a good sign to have "top contributors" with 1 add. Good luck with it.

 

Ha ha, well can´t help we are so new that even ad contributer is in the top 7 contributers list. We just need more people and hopefully it will be better
