The article from John (melonbar) was very well written and he nailed the easy-to-read, entertaining writing style that I was looking for. Research was obviously done for the article and it showed in the final result. Definitely a cut above most of the other articles I have had written for me through DP. I had to make a few minor edits, but nothing that I don't do with all of my other writers as well. I plan to purchase future articles from John.
I just received my article and overall it was a pretty good one. There were a few minor mistakes, but nothing serious. I gave him a fairly general topic and he did exactly what I wanted. He is a very good writer, and I would definitely recommend him. I actually have no need for the article he wrote for me as it is too short to do any good. I will post it below and let you review it for yourself. The topic I gave him was "Zombie games for the Xbox 360" Here it is: An XBOX 360 Must Play Zombie Game Zombie games for the Xbox 360 have proven meet the demands of horror genre enthusiasts. Popular titles include Resident Evil 5, Left 4 Dead, and the highly acclaimed, Dead Rising. Today, we go behind the scenes of the production of Dead Rising and give you the rundown on why you should grab a copy of the game. The game opens with Frank West, a freelance photojournalist finds himself in a small suburban town searching for the scoop of a lifetime. He soon discovers that the town has been taken over by zombies and makes an escape effort in the town's shopping mall. The interactive environment allows players to utilize a variety of resources, including store merchandise as weapons, vehicles, and fixtures to fend off the endless stream of zombies. Along the way, there are encounters with survivors and on-the-fly obstacles to overcome in order to discover the truth behind the horrifying infection. The developers at Capcom found their influence for this thriller in zombie movies from the 60's and 70's and aimed to portray a more comical perspective of the living dead. For a zombie game, it meets the demands of action-adventure seeking gamers. The story seeks to satisfy curiosity, the suspense is hair-raising, characters pull away from the cliche Japanese character design, and the gameplay is addicting. For a game released in 2006 for the Xbox 360 and Wii, it's a game that still meets today's standards and has enough replay value to make your purchase worthwhile.
