Need extra admin functions adding - MYSQL - PHP work

I need an article directory script modifying,

I have a growing article directory and i manually approve and remove duplicate entries myself.

I would like a programmer to give the script 2 extra functions.

Function 1 to "Bulk Approve" all pending articles.
Function 2 automatically remove ALL duplicate entries, not just from the pending articles but from the whole database. Currently there is almost 30,000 articles so the script cant use too much server resources doing the tasks. I think the best way to remove duplicate entries would be do compare the article snippets, but i will leave it up to you to view the script and see how best to do it.
