Hi I have an urgent problem. I need email hosting for about 500-2000 addresses on same domain. We want to give email addresses to our registered members and the email services will be hosted by other hosting provider. We don't want to move the entire site at this moment. Until now I have found 2 offers: http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/email/compare-plans#.uni. (the webhosting plan with 1000 email addresses) and http://www.godaddy.com/email/email-hosting.aspx (2.99/month/10 email addresses) What do you recomand me?
I can set up a VPS based email server or two for you with an easy admin panal to add addresses or I believe I can do an automated setup system where you insert a few mysql records and the email account is created. It would be $20 a month for one email VPS or $35 for an email server and a backup MX server. It comes with about 10GB worth of email storage though more can be added at about $0.30/GB/Mo. If you are expecting high loads on the email server let me know and we can set up a deal for a higher spec email server. PM me if you are interested. If you want to go higher end I can also set up a dedicated server based email server but that costs a bunch more though storage will be more like $0.05-$0.10/GB/Mo.
