Need eBay Niche Ideas?

If you're looking for niche ideas, I put together a free site that might help. It lists and provides links to the hottest eBay categories for the last month. I've been using eBay's report for several months and have been frustrated by not having links to the actual categories.

Browsing through this month's data I found a couple surprises and some seasonal ideas that will be useful next year.

i love that ebay gives you all of that information for free in the PDF they release every month?

 

Nice little site...definitely gives me some good ideas.

 

That's kind of useful. Better than scrolling through the pdf. But it must be a lot of work to set that up manually. And anybody who uses it isn't likely to make a purchase on eBay through your affiliate link - they'll be sure that their own aff id is set. So how will you get get rewarded for your efforts?

 

Actually a cool concept. I followed the links on a category and ended up at eBay. Does this match up with what eBay says or is this a very cool marketing ploy.

 

I had no idea Ebay did this, some cool information! I think it's quite clever that they give out this info too as doing this should create more leads and sales.

It's just the categories from eBay from their list (with no filters). Yes, this took a long time to set up, but if I continue updating it, it will be automated. I really just wanted to see if there was enough interest to continue it.

As I said, I hate the fact that you can't click on links in the PDF they supply to see what's actually selling for each category. That's probably where the above Pulse link would come in handy.

Yep, that's where I got the data. What I don't like about their PDF is that they don't link to the category. If you want to "see" the items, you have to do some searching.

I need to definitely keep my eye on this topic, this is definitely one I want to watch since it has some good information in it...
