Hi. This might possibly be a very lame thread. But the idea is if somebody can design a user interface for a website monitoring/server monitoring system, I'll build it. I don't know what language it'd be... but I thought it'd be really cool. I'll make it look good, and you can basically keep it running on a monitor and it'll look really cool. I'd prefer a language that I can render in PHP, but I don't fully know the viability of this idea. Any light shed would be useful. If I do make this, I'll publish it open source on here. To elaborate, it'd like have different slider bars, and graphs, and a cool interface, and be all 007-er, like "critical" this, "severe" that, green lights, red lights, pulsating red lights, etc. I need a designer though. As this is open source it wouldn't be payed, but you would be credited etc.
ask around friends at work/college/uni etc. some are really really talented & most will do it for free if they have some time to play around with! might be worth asking about. seems like a pretty cool idea though! don't forget a siren sound
