Well you will need at least 2GB rams , lots of space and UnMetered Bandwidth. If your gonna use a auto deletation of the files then you can have less space. Earnings.. hmm. You can use adsense but i`m not sure if you will earn so much from there to cover at least your server payment. A good option now for file sharing website is to pay your users for every downloaded file. Wonder how will you earn from this? Take as reference sharecash they are using a CPAlead widget like when someone tries to download a file. Is working something like this 1) affiliate share his links 2) persons access the links to download the files 3) once they accessed the link a widget popup will be visible on the download link 4) user complete a survey after that he is able to download the file 5) your earnings start from $40 to $6-$7 for every survey completed 7) you pay the affiliate like $0.10 or how much you want I had in mind to start something similar Easy right?
