Need critic for my site

I am still working on it but wanted to know if I am in the right direction before going any further. Any feedback is good. I know I know its a sports betting and poker themed website

I'm not a webdesigner, but I think it looks good - easy to navigate, my eyes were directed to the middle of the page which is where all the content is - until it came to the babe of the day then my eyes wandered

The only comment I would suggest are maybe the colours? Maroon and White, and blue is so 1980's Good work!

 

Lose the bold text. Bold only headings, lead-ins and things you want emphasized

Aside from the abundance of advertising, it looks pretty decent.

 

Yeah, get rid of the bold.

 

use Other font style for eyecatching rather than bolding and ifpossible change background black on either side columns. that diverting me from content.

 

My eyes went straight to the "Babe of the Day".

 

I like the clean look, and compatible in all resolutions. Simple, yet modern. I like it.

 

I think you should focus more on the babe of the day.
