Need Coupon Code Script!

Hi,

Please forgive me for being more creative than technically savvy... and this is my first time in this section of the forum!

I need a script that will allow me to generate many unique coupon codes integrated with paypal.

I'd like to offer a code that will provide 100% off (ie - free) a downloadable product, and not require the downloaders to enter their credit card info for that offer.

I think I will be going with paypal, although I'm open to any simple-to-use payment processor.

Does this kind of script already exist anywhere? Where would I find it?

Why don't you consider cutting Paypal out of the entire deal? It seems like all you need is a simple script that accepts coupon codes, and serves up the downloads.

It sounds like you are giving away the downloadable product to people who have the coupon code, so you might as well give a direct link to a script that allows people to just enter the coupon code, and allow the script to serve the file up directly to the user, therefore by-passing the payment processor.

For your pursual, there are many scripts over at HotScripts.com that can do this. Alternatively, if you require a custom solution, you might want to consider bidding for a coder over at GetACoder.

I may have a solution for you. I just created an online service called Promo Code Software. It's web based and really easy to use.

You can create unlimited promotion codes. You can also create what I call "dynamic" codes. These dynamic codes are generated in real time while your visitor is right there on your site.

I read your post where you are looking for a coupon script. I found this site that has printable coupons and banner ads. It is not an open script but a hosted site.

I don't why people are still posting to this after all this time, but I know of one that may suit your needs, or anyone else who sees this. IM Buzz software has a free coupon script, as well as, about 20 other free software products, covering just about everything you can think of.

BTW the oldest and the biggest Deals/Coupons Website script provider OWS Software is finally add a Free Coupons Website option.

 

You should create a PHP script to do this, it would be very easy and under 100 dollars for most programmers.

 

I learned that what you pay is what you get in return.
It is also true that I use free scripts / cms etc. Still if you want to make money a free product will only get you to some point. After that ... well if you want make money to got to give some money!

Regarding the coupon script I found couponsitescript.com
The script itself ... kind of Retailmenot clone but the plugins ( couponsitescript.com/buy-now/ ) make the difference. And by that the say it can reduce your working time minutes per day ... dealing with lots of coupons / offers.
Try them to see if the fit you.

 

You would create your own php script at low cost. It's a good option for users to enter coupon code to download products at less. OWS software allows users to create free coupon site. Couponpress is good for blog/sites created though wordpress. Other good options are couponscript, websitescripts and many more.

Here's a script I created back in 2006 for myself. I continued to develop it over the years so it's current and easy for anyone to use.

It's very flexible, easy to install and use. Does not require database configurations! One really nice feature that most others lack is the ability to secure your redirect page so no one can access it if the URL becomes known to the public.
