I need a C++ developer to modify existing software to better fit our needs. The software is NetDrive. I do have permission (including a paid license and partnership agreement) from them so it would all be legitimate. They have provided me with the SDK and some sample code. The NetDrive software allows you to mount external storage via an ftp account as a drive on your PC. The original software requires you to click "Add Site" and then enter all the appropriate FTP info. We would want to bypass this step by prompting for a username and password when the program is opened which would then pull the users FTP info from a database and automatically input this data into the software. So basically all you would have to do is open the software, enter their username/password and select a drive letter to setup to mount the external storage. The point is to make the process as easy as possible for a potential end user. In addition, there would be some re-branding needed. I was told that with the SDK and the sample code, any C++ developer should be able to handle this with no problem. The deadline would be October 14th. Please PM or email ( traudtda [at] gmail [dot] com ) me with your best price quote for this. I will likely take the lowest offer I get so keep that in mind. Thanks for your time!
Dantheman73, vWorker is known as *the* place for finding C++ programmers (vWorker is the new Rentacoder), so I recommend that you inquire there.
