    I think WordPress is the way to go too. It's easy to learn and use.....I love it! Plus easy to optimize for the search engines with a great variety of free plugins for different functionality. On my website there is a free website set up guide, but sorry I can;t give you the link as I'm new to this forum.
    Others that you won't have your own website domain name is Wix.com and I think Weebly was mentioned. If you want to build a serious website, I agree with the comments above...WP is best
