hey guys, if you think you can make lots of money with google ads - you're wrong you should have at least 1k daily visits to go beyond $100/month ... and that's in case you're lucky enough site builder websites rarely generate that much attention to them, sorry
I've used dreamweaver. it's very good software. However if you use any drag and drop software you will have to go over the code and clear it up. If you are going to do SEO on that website, you should have validated and clear code.
I dont like frontpage also. it's seems somehow heavy and not user frendly. It's better to write a code manually than with frontpage.
I will recommend this one now, because of so many recommendations I've seen in the past: http://squarespace.com It's got an in-browser visual site designer, help on-call, plenty of users, and it's also got a great iPhone app for updating your site on-the-go. I'm a web designer by trade, I do a lot of custom, Wordpress, and Joomla websites - but to the other designers out there who don't know web as well as I do this is where I point them and they have all seemed pleased with it. They have a free trial too - and if you google Squarespace pomotion codes you can usually find some good deals and discounts. Best of luck!
i am using weebly, it has a built in html editor, you can use it to insert your adsense code if you have an existing adsense account.
I tried Weebly - it is free only for that program: you site stays on their server.... good luck in seo ...
^ I +1 wordpress ... customization is always a plus and there are plugins for almost everything you need/want. Themeforest also has quite a few themes with awesome functionality. However; as some have mentioned here.. u need to learn the basics.. a lil trip to w3schools ain't a bad thing either.
"drag and drop" might as well be called "wipe and flush" -- the mere notion of it, or any form of WYSIWYG being even remotely associated with the term 'best' is a bit like being the best electric guitarist in Gregorian chant or the best automobile manufactured by British Leyland. The end result isn't anything that anyone could really be proud of -- or if they are, they don't know enough to even open their mouth on the topic.
