Please read this full posting before applying. I don't have time to deal with people who cannot follow basic instructions.

Zaber Technologies (www.zaber.com) is preparing to launch it's affiliate program and I need somebody to build several sets of banners for our affiliates. The ideal candidate will:

    • Have a portfolio of banners they've developed specifically for affiliate programs and be able to show it to me
    • Be able to work under fairly tight deadlines (i.e I'm looking to have the first set of banners within a few days)
    • Has the initiative to ask for any additional information they need.
    • Doesn't need me to chase them every day on the status of their work.
    • Can work with the existing color scheme of the website and incorporate it into all banner designs (grey/red color scheme). (I will provide you with the CMYK colors of the specific red and grey shades we use, I will also be providing you with a high res version of the zaber logo which must appear on all banners).

Initially this project will be for 10-25 banners. However we have budgetted funds for ongoing banner development, so you could expect another 10-25 banners every month.

You must be able to create visually appealing banners in various sizes (mostly 468x60, 120x60, 125x125, 250x250, 720x90, and 120x600).

Strong preference will be given to somebody that can also build flash banners, as we would like to have some of them in the near future - however this initial set must be animated GIF banners.

If interested, PM me the following information:

    • A link to your portfolio of affiliate banners that you've built for other clients.
    • Your expected compensation. We prefer to pay by Paypal, however we can pay by cheque if you prefer. Wire Transfer and/or Western Union may be possible as well.
    • Whether or not you can do flash banners (this is not a deal breaker, I can always find a flash banner designer later).
    • And you have to spend a few minutes looking over Zaber.com and making sure you can build attractive affiliate banners for it. We'll be looking to get a mix of general banners, as well as product specific banners (i.e. a set on Linear Actuators, etc).
    • Your expected turnaround time for 25 banners. I would prefer 24-48 hours, but can make exceptions for the right designer.

If you reply without following the above instructions you will a) NOT be considered, and b) be added to my ignore list - which will automatically discount you from any future work I post here. So save yourself the trouble and please read this full post.

If you don't think you can follow the above instructions, then do not reply. I have posted over a dozen projects here in the past six months and most of the replies I get are "I can do this." - please don't send me 1-liner responses, I have explicitly stated what I expect above.

I would like to make a decision on this either today or early tomorrow morning.

Questions? PM me or reply here.

The budget is negotiable depending on the skill level of the designer. We haven't set a specific amount of money aside for this.

It's amazing how many people just can't follow simple instructions. I made it very clear that I will not be chasing you and that I wanted to be PM'd if you were interested. Yet people who both replied to this thread (i.e. g.sim), and people who PM'd me didn't actually send me what I asked for.

Thankfully some of you did follow the directions and I'm reviewing your submissions now. Thanks, and I'll be in touch.
