    Define a clear niche.
Define a target audience for aforementioned niche
Think about what the target audience would type in for the search results to reach your site. Don't choose too competitive of a keyword unless you're really in it for the long haul.

Ah. To actually find specific keywords, you can try this:

Go to SEOBook's Keyword Tool and type in the keyword that's in your mind. It'll show you how many times it's searched per day as well as some synonyms. You should also use Google's tool for this as well.

Average search volume is the amount of times the term is searched overall on average. The more filled in the green bar is, the more searched it is.

Search Volume: May is like the average search volume except only applying to May.

Advertiser competition is how many people are trying to pay to get sponsored on that specific term (I believe). The higher this is, the more competitive the keyword that you're looking at is.

    Hope that helps.

thanks man i know this is found in help button for each one but that is good too , so the more gren bar is filled the more hard is to compete for this keyword atleast in the advertiser column ? and about the average search volume that could give me how popular this keyword is so i can expect how much traffic i can get if i ranked well in this keyword! am i right in this ?
