I am now trying to work on getting keywords for my categories and analyze them. Can some of you give me some advice or good steps to take to do this.
Google keyword tool is free and quite good and then there is wordtracker.org, which is about £30 per month and provides a bit more information such as KEI (keyword effectiveness index) and KEI3, which is like KEI, but the measurement is based on the number of keywords on anchor text links, which is regarded as a more accurate reflection of how competitive a keyword is. I tend to signup to wordtracker as and when I need it and then cancel the account so I only pay for a month at a time. Others might say that the free Google tool is all you need. However, wordtracker also offer another tool which you give permission to access your google analytics account so it can extrapolate and use the keywords that visitors are actually searching for when they visit your site. It then uses these to generate longtail niche keywords for you to work on.
Google keyword tools is best if you are looking out for a free keyword tool. If you want a paid one, I may not post it here no free publicity for any tools..haha However, while you use any tool, make priority 1, 2, & 3... 1 should be most accurate, 2. relevant & 3. Possibly relevant. this will save lots of time in future when you plan to do SEO in order of keyword priority. If you need any further assistance, you may reply or shoot me a PM
i am interested to join n help you to finding and analyzing keyword, i'm analyzing with market samurai tool, if you agree please reply me in PM
use google keyword tool, market samurai and keyword elite. Both keyword elite and market samurai have a trial version.Never just rely on one keyword tool to analyze keywords.
The trial version of market samurai is a good method to getting into this type of analysis. Still, if you want to learn the basics, stick to Google's tools for the first steps. They're implicit.
