hello friends, i want to check value of this site www.ekorner.com i have checked many sites of value calculator, they told 300$ , 400$. tell me exact price of this site.
Do not use the online value calculators they are a con... There is no way to calculate a value of ANY website. The site is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it and what you are prepared to let it go for.. It's really that simple..
value calculator never accurate, if you think the price is reasonable, go ahead, else forget about it
I think the value is decided by buyer. The price can be sold out is the real value. Can try to sell a little higher and see the responses by buyers?
...and that basically is proof that my answer was correct... A site is ONLY worth what someone offers you... Cheers browntwn ;-)
You seem to have this idea in your head that the value of a website can be spit out simply by looking at it. This is not the case. It depends on how much targeted traffic the site is getting, and how much money the website is currently making. It also depends on what YOU believe it is worth, as well as what someone interested in buying it believes it is worth. Lets say your site gets 1,000 visitors each month on a fairly steady basis. Lets also say that your site is generating an average of $150 per month ($5 per day) The estimated value of the website is roughly $1,500. Now you have to factor in what other people see in the website. (Not ON The website) If no one is interested in the website, there is no real way to expand on it, or it costs >$150 per month to keep it's profits, you won't be finding anyone that wants to buy it. Thus it's value decreases to $0. Determining the value of a website is like determining the value of a house. You can have someone come in and estimate, but your number is going to be much lower than you expect, and you still have to find a buyer that is interested in purchasing the website itself. Otherwise, your stuck with the site.
I am selling this site at cheap price check it out http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2407219
To certain extent I agree with 1812 but not completely. There are factors that you can use to estimate the value of a website: traffic, links, how well it's ranked in Google, how valuable the keyword is, how much money can you potentially make selling related products, etc... taking everything aforementioned into account, your site is not worth a lot at the moment: it doesn't rank in Google for anything, it receives very little traffic, I didn't find any decent backlinks... I could create a similar site in a couple of hours, so currently your site is worth $9 domain price + 2 hour work rate. Build backlinks, build following and who knows - it may be worth thousands in a year...
