I see there are many different pre-made turnkey style websites out there but I wanted to know which ones were considered "the best". I wanted to setup a ringtones site, an ebook site and maybe one of those dropship ones, what advice / info can you guys give to this "TurnKey" newbie? I really appreciate any help provided as I am in deep water here, I have designed sites myself for years but never ventured into the turnkeys before.

The only reason I want to go turnkey is because I have a few sites that I want to get up quickly and don't have the time "really" to devote to full design at this stage, however I will most likely get the sites revamped or completely redone at a later date when I have more time.

A turnkey site that gives me the ability to edit and customise later on would be good, also for those turnkeys that are commission based I would like to know which are the ones that give the best commission rates.

Anyway I don't know who here has dealt with turnkey sites but I do see a lot for sale so I assume there are some guys here that are in the know - thanks for sharing your knowledge :)

Skip searching for a turnkey site. most are too limited to add much value and are not good solutions for the long run. For dropship products you just need to find a dropship inventory data service provider.

Look at a few real platforms like X-Cart, Zen Cart, CRE Loaded, Virtuemart, VPASP, etc and use the data service provider for the dropship programs load and automate your site with inventory updates.
