    Hello there,

I have a gaming community that I run with around 2,000 members and my email limit is set to 200 per hour which is nowhere near good enough, is there anywhere that I can rent a server where I can send as many emails as I like, I don't know if there is such thing as just an SMTP server but if there is can I get some recommendations please.

    Thanks in advance!

what you might need to do is hire a VPS, these are virtual servers, but you have control of them, you would be able to send out as many emails as you wish from one.

You might also be able to use the gmail for enterprise package, whatever it's full name is.

200 limit seems very low which provider has that low of a limit? I know for us and many other providers the limit is more like 1000 which is pretty reasonable I think. If you're doing mass mailings or anything of that nature it's always a good idea to use the forums built in queueing system anyways otherwise you're going to slow down the server.

Most Internet Service Provider were blocked Port 25 in order to combat spam activities and this action cause user could not send out mass mail to their recipient. Even you to try use a good mailing software, your email will not delivered.

I have a solution for this issue. I already found one hosting company that allow you to use their SMTP Server to send email in large quantity and unlimited mailing in one day. The requirement is you must buy domain and hosting with them and I will install FREE Autoresponder Script and you can start promote your product immediately.

Interested to know further, feel free to contact at zackucom [at] gma.il do t co m.

VPS would be the way to go here- you can install Exim or Postfix (very high performance MTAs), and from there easily be able to meet your mail sending needs. Expect to pay anywhere from $20 to $50 per month.

A VPS would definitely be the way to go.

Since you won't need the server to be on every minute of every day to send out these emails, you could go with amazon or rackspaces cloud computing solutions.

Power up the server, send your emails, and power it down. Since the cost is 1.5 cents per hour (for rackspaces service), it would take a good long while to run through your deposit.

Actually, Rackspace has implemented a limit on the number of e-mails you can send out.
