Need an Illustrator to convert a photo to line-drawing

    Hi,

I have a photo of a statuette that needs converting to a line drawing.

However, intricate detail is not required as the finished drawing will be used to cover the shoulder part of a T-shirt and will be screenprinted, or may be possibly done as a transfer, not sure at this stage.

I've uploaded 2 files to this location: http://www.box.net/public/mpf40h0ed2

    Antiques001-small.jpg is a low-res version 500px x 750px - 52k

    Antiques 001.tif is the original file. 1575px x 2362px - 4Mb

Please Note: The statuette stands on a plinth, which will not be required. Also, the guy is carrying a serpent, which also will not be required.

I'd prefer for the image to be drawn as an Illustrator .eps.

There is a bit of artistic licence to get this looking right on the shoulder of a T-shirt. (The feet could point down more if this looks better etc.)

I had something similar sent to me from Japan which was done using geometric shapes, very similar to how 'Spiderman' is drawn. My client liked this so, just a thought.

If you are at all interested in taking this on please PM me with a cost-approximation and timescale. Any examples of previous line-drawing work would be most helpful. Payment can be made in a number of ways which we can sort out mutually.

    Hi nozzmoking,
Convert the 4 megabites .tiff format file to .jpeg and upload both your files to any image hosting site and paste links here to get quick response to your Thread.:)

    Hi ramakrishna,

    Thanks for your response.

As both files are already on an image sharing site do I just need to convert the tiff to jpeg? I'm a bit confused, as the link points to both files so the user can download a small version (jpeg), or the full-blown original (tiff).

What am I doing wrong? Sorry to sound so vague - it's the first time I've tried this.

    Hi Nozzmoking,
You are correct! I thought the .tiff format file for different image. Now I see both file refers to same image. It is okey. :)
