Need an FTP client

Currently I am using the FTP client from Total Commander which, when you upload a file that needs to be overwritten, first deletes the file on the server and then uploads the new version. This means that during the upload process, this file is unavailable/incomplete on the server and this is a big inconvenience for me.

I am looking for an FTP client that uploads the new file to a temporary location on the server and only when the upload is complete replaces the old file.

Do you know of any such clients?

    Thank you

Like I said, when I modify a file, that file is unavailable to visitors for a few seconds. If I change an include file for example, the whole website throws PHP and MySQL errors and it looks really bad.

FileZilla is a good choice for a FTP client.

I use Bitkinex (freeware). It's the fastest ftp client I've ever used (compared to easyftp, cuteftp, fireftp, filezilla and a lot of other clients; it uses multi-threaded download/upload and something else that improves speed).

I don't know any software that would do what you want, I never had problems with that (a few seconds don't make a noticeable difference, unless you change the file 10 times per minute :).

You should try using WAMP or something similar to test everything locally, then upload to your server once (Especially useful if you have a slow Internet connection).
