If I rank in the Top 5 of the SERP's for a term that gets around 30,000 searches a month what type of income can I expect to receive on a monthly basis from Adsense advertisments on my page? Let's say the Adsense advertisements bring in around .03 to .05 cents a click (I think this is a typical amount for average terms).

I know there are alot of variables like how optimized my site is for Adsense, how many Adsense ads I placed on the pages, etc....but I'm just looking for a general number.

    Thanks.

:) Or if someone has even created a general formula that can give a rough estimate of what monthly income is expected that would be great!

You will get a lot of different answers. Probably none of them will be exactly right for your situation. As you say there are a lot of variables.

I think ideally you should expect a CTR of 3 to 5% In other words 3 to 5 % of your visitors should click an ad. I will let you do the math to figure out what you might earn.

There are too many variables involved for that. Such as:
    Ad placement and style
    Niche
    How targetted are you visitors?

Im sure others may add to the list

You got the visitors but now it depends on how much clicks do you receive! then you amount can easily be calculated!
