Need an attorney recommendation in the USA

Can anyone recommend an attorney that might have some experience collecting affiliate commissions. An affiliate program is not paying, and I am at the point where I think I need to get an attorney involved.

    Two options:

    1. Civil Suit
    2. Walk away!

If you choose one, you have a filing fee, court costs and a limit on what you can sue for. Cheaper than an attorney.. Small claims is the way to go. The burden of proof is all on you!!!

Or Be done with it and walk away. Cut your losses now.. I've been screwed by more affiliate programs than I can count, and each time, I just find walking away is the best course of action.

I'd suggest option two, else you will end up spending/losing even more!

I'd rather not walk away. Their are plenty of attorneys that work on contengency.

And I doubt you are going to find one that will either take the case or will leave enough left over to make this worth your while. At $5k, take them to small claims.. You stand to lose less going that route.

If they were local, i'd do that. But they are half way across the country, so small claims court is not an option.

Ah, if you entered into a contract with them in your municipality you can force them to appear in court where you are.

If you do proceed with legal action please come back and update this post. Most of the time affiliates just get screwed and don't have the resources to collect. It would be great to hear of one who fights (and wins).
