    I need relevant recommendations for 2015.

    Media.net is the best alternative to AdSense ( it is a contextual ad network.)
    I also recommend Propellerads & Infolinks.
    Propellerads: banner ad network.
    Infolinks: in-text ad network

    I would definitely check in to media.net or chitika. Either way, its hard to beat adsense. What type of website will you be placing ads on? Maybe we can help more if we know your niche.

    Have you tried affiliate marketing?

    You would be shocked at the amount of money you can make without ever worrying about being banned/blocked for whatever Google's flavor of the week is.

    i haven't found one yet that will accept me as an affiliate (approve my account after I sign up) because every one I signed up to wants proof that am already an affiliate of other game affiliate programs.
    but I can't get that one to start with...

    I use Shareasale.com and Clickbank.

    The trick with ShareaSale is to keep joining affiliate programs until one automatically approves you.
