My website till yesterday was doing pretty well on Google. A few days back I made some changes. I checked today that my website is gone from all the keywords. I checked the cached copy of my website and noticed that those changes are now there in the cache. I have undone those changes with the immediate effect. Am I right in doing so?

What kinds of changes you have done?

Complete change of content and Title Tags can have a great impact in SERPs but it can't be happen that your website will just gone for all the keywords you rank.

    Check the Cache page

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.c.../+loans+4+unemployed&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

    and check the actual page

    http://www.loans4unemployed.co.uk

All is OK. Just check the bottom links. I think it has happen due to overstuffing of keyword in anchor text at bottom.

Yes, Keyword density is too high. Keyword stuffing could be a reason for this SERP changes.

If you already changed back what you edited, you should wait until this version will be cached again and see if you are up again. If you`re not, then those edits weren't the problem

Mate, don't look in cache. It changes not so fast like Google indexing. Caffeine works, it finds changes and new content very fast, but cache changes slowly. And it doesn't shows truth.

Mate, I think that may be some of your Good backlinks have been devalued by Google. Kindly make a note of them using yahoo site explorer and let us know. Keyword stuffing i.e. a pure blackhat Technique may be another reason for this downfall. Anyways, now start building quality links asap.

Thatz good news and I hope your site gets re-indexed soon. I would also appreciate if you would answer some of the members here about the changes you made. ;)

Because major changes in tags or keywords can affect your rankings.
