Hi i am looking for a pay per sale affiliate program in the UK for our tech/telecom website. Are there any suggestions? Which affiliate programs have the largest UK local networks? Generally what should we look out for, what traps? Will higher payouts necessarily have better results? Any advice would be appreciated? thanks, r.

Most affiliate networks I know have offers for the UK. Some good ones to try would be Copeac, MaxBounty, Traffic Venue Direct, Revenue Universe, etc. There are links and more networks in my sig if you are interested. Good Luck!
MaxBounty has about 30 campaigns which can accept traffic for the UK, both per-lead and per-sale. Wide variety of sponsor types as well.
