I'm thinking of starting an adwords campaign. I would like to know if I have to have a landing page in order to be successful promoting clickbank products. Can I just direct my readers directly to the sales page for the product? has anyone had success doing that?

Having a landing page is a must if you plan to create lucrative campaigns. With your own landing page, you could presale the product better, and control your quality score.

Plus there are countless other benefits, such as disclosing the referral of your traffic, so the advertiser doesn't steal your keywords.

I'd use your own landing page. You might also want to have your link bypass the vendor's landing page.

Definitely use your own landing page. If you're direct linking, you could be competing with many other affiliates and AdWords will only serve one ad per URL for a search query
