Hello,my site [ allusrestaurants.com ]...How to get it on top in google search ?? please review and tell me about the improvements in site ? and what is missing in it which should be in the site ??? thanks
Well, you have 588 links to the site, and looks like most are from Forums and some lower end directories. I would recommend that you get links from some related sources - blogs about cooking, restaurant review sites and blogs, etc... Contact some bloggers and ask them to write a review of the site, or better yet, create a section to allow customers to rate the restaurants they've visited. That will generate more content for your site and make it a more valuable resource. Also go and solicit links from restaurants themselves. Instead of allowing restaurants to list for free, charge a small fee - $20 or so, or tell them that you will offer them free advertising in the biggest directory of restaurants, and all they need to do is link to you. That will get you some good relevant links. As far as your directories go, you need some links from quality directories - listing in dir.yahoo.com, business.com, BOTW, v7n - will give you links from some good directories- they're not cheap, but in my opinion they are worth it. In general, I don't like to see a site with AdSense on it. It makes me think that the purpose is generating revenue, not providing a good resource. I wouldn't have any Adsense on my own sites, but that's just my personal opinion.
Given site is having a great potential for marketing and for earning huge bucks.. You must try a dedicated search engine marketing firm for this purpose under your budget.
I thought the whole purpose of a commercial website was to generate revenue? Why else would someone invest so much time and effort into building and promoting a website? MFA sites are only MFA sites because the site owner has not figured out how to sell a product or service on their website yet. That will come with time, experience and confidence. Is it just that some businesses deserve our respect and others don't? I guess you overlooked the Google Adsense on this page and every other page of the DP website?
Some great suggestions here, you really need to look for relevant backlinks, in other words from websites that are related to the content on your pages. I am a bit biased since I focus a heck of a lot on web 2.0 as it works so well, but I really think a campaign of putting up related content on web 2.0 sites such as squidoo, wetpaint, hubpages, tumblr, etc and linking back to your site will help you rank dramatically. I would agree that there is nothing wrong with using adsense either. Good luck with it! Cheers Tim
