Hi folks, I am going to start Directory website business. Which will have 300 Directory , 100 Article Directory , 100 Social book marking. It will be free for posting for any one with fast approval within 7days. It will allow deep links too. I will provide service for posting in 300 directory with deepling and next days submission and approval with Excel report for $5 Article submission 100 in all my directory for $3 Social book marking 100 for all my sites $3 Every thing together $7. Is this good Idea and is it going to work ?
Thanks for your reply, the only reason I am starting this is I have worked on these scripts. I have developed modules which will submit the links and generate reports. All directories are not blanks it has database of so nice pr existing sites. I am going to promote directory list to seo companies who are submitting directories for their clients.
Are you offering directory submission services or are you do you actually think that you can run 500 sites?
I'm not certain what you mean by creating a Business directory site, article submission and paid for ... If you are looking to create another directory site, stand in line as there a ton of them, and almost all of them are free. As to article submission, there a number of places to submit a written article. If your site has a page rank of 6 or higher, you enable dofollow links, you get a huge amount of traffic, it's subject matter specific then you have a great chance of success.
I have clients for directory submission. However I outsource all directory submission orders. Besides these I have developed module for PHPLD in which I can ADD/EDIT/DEL links at once from all sites. So handling all the sites would be not that much difficult. So I want to stop outsourcing all the orders and do it myself.
Not it would be free for others to submit. But for those who want to get submission at ease I will offer them fast and quick approval submission.
I take it your are from Atlanta. Me too. We also have developed a multi-directory module for links and articles but as yet it is unreleased.
I don't understand the premise behind a module or plugin that posts the same content on multiple directories. Are you not simply creating sites with duplicate content and in effect competing with yourself?
This market is saturated with these kind of directories why would someone choose yours? You seem to be offering quantity but so are many others, people can spend $5 and get hundreds of low grade directory links already. I don't like to be harsh but - no it probably will not work many others have offered the same thing and never made any money you are just following the same path.
The last thing you want is to create spam about your website then after that BOOM! Your site disappears from Google.
Take a different route, maybe you should consider creating a membership site, or an online forum where you charge users to post in certain areas. You really don't want to run the risk of spam getting created then have all of your hard work disappear and be all for nothing ya know....
They must some sort of unique value in order to survive, simply adding some more directories doesn't seems to be a profitable opportunity.
When we developed this tool it was for business addresses in several well run directories (and the URL field was not even used). They just wanted a way to manage client listings where the clients were actually paying a monthly fee and get traffic from well run sites. I have been super hesitant to release this tool to anyone else. Increasingly google spots black hat operations and they are ineffective (though people still buy the links). What a lot of people don't realize is that if you put a lot of time in effort into just one (or maybe a handful at most) directories, you can run a profit every month assuming you produce well done categories and have an effective homepage.
yes it will worth you. Just make sure the domain you choose are keyword rich domains. Now days people are looking to get their website index on keyword rich domain. Make all you domain keyword rich, do the promotion, build quality backlinks and try to make high quality directories so it will return you good result.
It WILL NOT work. Your post is misinformation. Completely wrong. This is the exact kind of "business model" that Google is looking at shutting down via their webspam update. Why? Because it spams the web with crap. @iatlanta: Do not do it. It is the worst idea in the world. Create something useful for the web. If you want that to be a directory. Create just ONE, and make it the best it can be. Do not create 300 pieces of crap. Please don't try and defend the practice and say you will keep them quality. I'm sorry you cannot, keeping just one directory quality would take nearly ALL of your free time. I implore you to not do this idea, for the sake of the web. All you will be doing is creating spam. It's wrong.
Just with that statement right off it is like saying that I am going to let people spam and make money off of it. Creating so many sites creates the biggest red-flag saying the quality is going to be low and it will provide nothing to the web in general. I have to agree with others that this is just going to end up being spam. What would be great is if you could create a very small number of sites and really put a lot of work in them to make the site high quality. This is the best way to make and sustain a profit in the long run.
