I'm about to sell one of my websites for $3000. The buyer said he's got the money ready in his paypal account. I've done deals like this before unfortunately the last 2 times I've done this the person sends the funds to my paypal and i give them the website, 20 minutes later i get an email from PayPal saying that a chargeback has been made, then BAM i lose a website and $2000. Ever since then I've decided I'm never using PayPal for selling again. I've decided I'm going to get the buyer to pay through e-gold problem with that is we can't find anyone that will exchange the paypal to e-gold.

What i want to know is, is there any other safe ways to do this transaction?

Thanks for your time, all advice is greatly appreciated :)

Due to the fact that there are a number of DP members who condone to using fake identity and fake documentation such as a bought bank account or VCC, it is difficult to determine the identity of the buyer. Thus some sign up for the sake for the purpose of defaulting people. Now you cannot really trust who is for real or not.

Never except anything more than a few hundred dollars through Paypal unless you can ascertain that the person is really who he say he is.

E-gold is only good for the seller but the buyer has no protection against the seller not fulfilling his side of the deal.

If it is a contract done between two people who never dealt with each other before, there is always the risk element for both side.

In any case, you might want to use use escrow.com as it would be safe for both buyer and seller as a 3rd party ensures that both are happy.

Use escrow.com. The process is fairly simple and it is worth the aversion of risk.

    Use escrow.com, as its reliable.

Also, never expect a non real price for anything i.e. a person buying a website earning $200/month for $1500 and similar way for egold.
