Phoenix themes use Yootheme's warp5 theme framework. They're pretty easy to customize and we've previously done so with virtuemart.

So the answer is Yes. They're compatible.

Thanks for your reply. I am testing it in localhost when i put my server online i am not able to view any pics in other pcs wat may be the reason?

And one more help, how to edit the template layout? like i want to cut the top portion where the date is shown so that the background image comes front. Like a white rectangular layout in the middle of the background image. for example the site like jooml.org

    Thanks

You can edit the CSS of the template to show or not to show graphics. You may also need to edit other files also. There may be an option in the administrator section of Joomla to edit the CSS of the template.

You will have to hire a coder to do all this work for you. Editing a template, no matter how easy it may sound will not be as easy as it sounds.

Just getting a rectangular box can require multiple lines of code. So hire one of us. :)

    Hi rajan17_88's,

I would advise you to research some of the template clubs for Joomla. A couple of the clubs I belong to have made templates for Virtue Mart. They have built in custom modules and template over-rides to suit Virtue Mart. They even have complete installations of a new Joomla with Virtue Mart built right in with demo content to get you started.

One of the clubs I belong to that has built a Virtue Mart layout into their template would also help you with questions and support. When you use Virtue Mart you may need support to keep it going, lots of upgrades and bug fixes down the road. :)

if the pics you can't see on your live server are the product images, chances are that you need to change the virtuemart site URL values (VirtueMart > Configuration > Site > Security).
