I have launched 2 websites (www.developertoolz.com and www.developernewz.com) 3 weeks ago, I am averaging about 10 uniques a day and I think the site could be doing a lot better than that.
Could someone review the sites and tell me how i can improve its SEO?

    thank you

the sites looks good, ok heres what i think, from what i saw on the page its all dynamic you should add static text content and add some images and put alt tags on those images... and you must target a specific keyword on your site and use an appropriate meta tags for title and description...

What keyword are you trying to optimize for www.developertoolz.com ?
"Developer Toolz" ? I don't think you can get any traffic from that (you are ranking #1 in Google anyway :p). Or the one in your signature? "Free Developer Webmaster Tools", if so put that keyword in your title.

By the way, your signature links are wrong :p

Big thing is title tags for you right now.

Also dont expect traffic in 3 weeks in that niche. It will take a long time and your gonna need a ton of incoming links.

the only paid advertising i have done is i hired a guy to do 100 manual directory listings for each of the sites.
other than that just posting in news groups and my signature on forums that i am a member of.

How do you want people to find your site? What keywords when they enter in google would you like your site to show up in the results? I would start with those terms first in the title tag.

Your getting there. Id remove the URL in the title on the hompage and any page. It does you no good.

I put the url there just for people to see that url and MAYBE remember it next time they looking for tools :)
aaron i really appreciate the feedback, what should be my next step?
submit a google sitemap? not exactly sure what the right course of action on this will be if the entire website is dynamic.
looking for more feedback and appreciate every 0's n 1's used in responses.

If i could add to that, i also registered developerstools.org (which points to the same content, just a domain alias) I read somewhere this could be really bad pointing 2 different domains to the same content, but in this case its legit.

mod_rewrite the URLs if you can. Not very important but it helps.

build tons of incoming links. Directory submission, article writing, ect.

keep making a ton of unique content.
