Need advice to optimize Turkish website

    Hello DP members

    I want to do SEO for a website in Turkey local language.

    What should i do to promote it??

    For Directory Submission, Social Bookmarking and Article Submission, Can i use normal Directories in English language?? Or is there any other list available???

    Please help me, I will be heartily thankful to you.

    It would be better if you can get links from websites in Turkey language, but getting links from websites in english within the same niche will be of help also.

    If you are targeting local audience, go globally, then in local search you will beat all other Turkish competitors, example "Google Turkey".

    Though promotional techniques for non-English websites are same, but there are a few things that you can do for targeting Turkish audience only,
    - Set your preferred geographic location in Google webmaster tools
    - Get a country specific domain extension
    - Submit your website to local search engines
    - Submit your website to local directories

    As far as directories are concerned, do not submit your website to English directories, though there is no harm... but there isn't any benefit either.
