Dear DP, I plan on selling a wordpres site, of which I own the domain for and pay for hosting. How do I go about selling the contents of the site without having to give up my hosting to the buyer?
Sign up for a free godaddy deluxe hosting plan, point your domain to the godaddy DNS, move the files to the new server, set up a database and import the data into it, and do not forget to update the wp-config.php file to reflect the new database details. That's it, problem solved.
First you need to push the domain to buyer account. After that backup all files and database then email it to buyer.
