Need advice: scriptlance refuse to give me a refund

    scriptlance refuse to give me a refund

    I have made a mistake by paying scriptlance project fee after that the project has been canceled, and money back to my scriptlance.com account I have requested refund from support, after few days I request refund to PayPal,

    they still don't refund me.

    I am not sure what to do really to get my money back.

    Should I Escalate the dispute to a PayPal claim ?

    Um, that isn't carelessness, that's straight up THEFT.

    You can't accept money for a project you didn't do, especially if someone wants it back because that's the definition of...THEFT.

    No one requested that money out of the goodness of your heart and you gave it to them expecting to pay you back but they didn't. There was a contract of sorts, be it written or verbal, with a designated buyer and seller.

    Bring proof of your claim, give evidence of every transaction, make sure it becomes clear that the other party ended the project and you paid after that knowledge was made evident to you.

    There is no reason for them to keep your money. Go get it back.

    I have kept the money in scriptlance for about a month.

    They haven't reply me over a week, they finally reply me and say to me to close it, and they refund me part of the funds and they keep 1 cent in their account, that's also happened before.


    I do not think I am going to use their service ever again its bad service and bad support... Very slow answering...

    Also it’s not acceptable to take 1 cent if their service not rendered from a programmer, and about the 1 cent if they keep take 1 cent from each refund they will make much of money out of it LOL.

    So you are complaining that you accidentally sent money to someone, and they sent it all back on your request, but they kept 1 cent?

    Not only that, they delay too much time that they keep the money and not answering the support (Bad support) due no answer I was worried that they may scam me.

    Also, when I open dispute with PayPal they suspended my account and reply support ticket finally to say close the PayPal dispute to return the money.

    And I know when I close PayPal dispute there is no refund, as PayPal close the option to refund.

    So, it's really bad support they have, and it makes me risk using them again, and also the one cent, I am not sure why they did that, with part refund for the money and keep one cent.

    This is really unacceptable, that's why I start writing about.

    They weren't refunding me anything by the way and not respecting me by answering me, I am not sure how some people got luck with them anyway.

    Right now I will stop using scriptlance and forget about it as i had no luck using it and it’s not 100% secure to use.

    You really need to learn not to get caught up in minutia. This is waste of your time and energy. You need to step back and think about the fact you are complaining about ONE CENT.

    Its not Only about one cent.

    its about the bad support also that was slow.

    I am drop the subject anyway, well.. I do not mean to complain about the cent .. its just if someone steal a cent then its can't be trusted, that's all.

    I agree. Consider the one cent a cheap way to learn not to do business with them.
