Hi, i have some of my sites at hostgator, on a daily basis i login to each email account that i have setup for each site, but ive never ever logged into the Default Email Account the one that shows underneath the others in cPanel.

Ive never even looked to realise that emails go there, it says it catches mail that is unrouted, it currently (because ive never checked it before) has 7.63MB in there and over 3000 messages.

Are these messages basically what doesn't reach my individual email accounts that ive setup for my sites hosted there? At a glance it appears to be a ton of spam and and the usual failure notice ones.

The only reason ive even looked at this is because last night i was downloading a home directory backup and my antivirus warned me of a trojan TrojanDownloader.Bredolab.AA, so i stopped the backup and went into my individual email accounts to delete spam email with attachments as in the past i had an attachment in spam email that held a different virus, when i deleted it it cleared the problem, last night though even after cleaning out my individual email accounts theres still the trojan, so is the trojan probably within that 3000+ emails in the default account?

I cant believe ive never even looked at the default email account before.
