it's simple.. if you aim other websites can join your directory.. make your listing a free service.. for SEO tricks, submit it to directory-list sites, like directory critic and Valuedirectories. Submission to social bookmarking sites are also good too.
well..first make listings for FREE. Once it get some popularity..and some pagerank, then ask for some $$ for listing. good luck
