Need Advice on what to do Next...

    Ok im the owner of a Forum called Teenden which is a Teen forum which is run by teens for Teens but i need to find ways of getting it out to the people. so they know about it. We run on a very low budget as we dont make money from the forum. www.Teenden.co.uk

    Can i have some tips on how to market the forum to a large audience. :)

    well try promoting it by running some contest... or serach engine submission... but not by postin in forums... this wil not get u any members... well u said itz for teens or let the current members do something like promote then in there friend circle.. :)

    cut down on the number of forums until you get postings - it looks like it's really empty - 50 forums with 4 posts each or 5 forums with 40 each - which looks busiest ?

    yup referral contest works.. but try to put up some security measures to make sure they don't create fake accounts just to win..

    I agree cut down on the topics until you have more traffic, and do some SEO. If its for teens, it needs to be fun and exciting. Start some topics that will get them talking. ;)

    Try exchanging links with lots of other teen websites as well. You could offer incentives to teens so they post in your forum rather than others.

    There are services offering 'paid posts' which can kick start a forum but these obviously cost money.......
