Need Advice on Showing my Company Logo on forum

    Hi,
I'm trying to show my company logo on http://forums.studentdoctor.net . If you notice, there aren't that many logos that are rotating so competition is low it seems.

I've even set my daily budget at $30 and Max CPM at 0.25. What do I need to do to get some impressions?

Thanks in advance for all your help and best of luck with your future endeavors.
    -Igor

Max CPM of $0.25 may not be high enough to get any impressions ... try experimenting with gradually increasing the CPM rate until you start receiving impressions is the only advice I can give at the minute...

Wait doesnt' CPM mean how much your willing to pay for 1000 impressions? I have changed it to $50 and have set my daily budget at $100 but still nothing. What to do?

Also your ads will not receive impressions until they are manually revised (it takes about 5 bizz days).

I would decrease this daily budget to a safer low value, at last on first testing days -

Accidents happens on first days of CPM use.

Don't do it - return it to normal values or they will run like hell and you will need to pay for it.

Your ads has not been revised yet - set a low daily budget and wait until the end of the week.

Take your time to research and add a lot of sites to your list, so you have more option to remove low conversion or low CTR sites from your list in the future.

Hi, Thank you for all your inputs.
So currently having my CPM set at $50 will give me 1000 exposures of my banner? I too believe this is very high (well it's 0.05 an impression). Student Doctor receives a lot of hits, almost 100-500K impressions a day. So what would you guys recommend that I set my daily budget and CPM at this moment? So it will take 5 days for it to kick in I guess. Thanks a million :)

calculation per impression (e.g. $0.05) is not recommended due it gives you a number that do not makes any sense - is like a car seller gives you a price you would pay per atom of a Ferrari - you would say it is very cheap.

$50 per 1000 exposures: is a very high price - as you are new you would get about 0.3% CTR what make you pay about $16 per click..

I would set it close to $0.25 and go increasing after your ads got approved.

Check and make sure you're looking at stats for TODAY.

Your ads may be running and you don't know it.

I did not know the ad had not been reviewed... that was why I said it may be too low to get shown...

However, if it gets reviewed then you could experiment with increasing the CPM slightly each day until you start generating impressions.

    $0.25 is where your starting

then maybe move in $0.05 or $0.10 or $0.25 increments

    so after reviewed and approved:

    1st day $0.25 CPM
    2nd day $0.35 CPM
    3rd day $0.50 CPM
    4th day $0.75 CPM
    5th day $1.00 CPM

Monitoring the stats you would then be able to get an understanding of the CPM rate that is required to start showing impressions.

Hopefully you have corrected the figure og $50 CPM as that is extremely high... many forums do operate from $0.25 - $1.25 range for CPM from my experience.

That sounds like a good plan, it's important to be patient and you probably shouldn't need to go over $1.00 CPM to start getting clicks once the ad's approved.
